McDonald's in Herrenberg

The McDonald's in Herrenberg is a nice place to bring kids for a meal and some fun. This restaurant serves most of the special and new menu items, such as the signature burgers. However the restaurant suffers from bad planning, both architectural and operational. The entry road is so narrow that an accident there can potentially trap everyone inside the car park for hours. Delivery trucks routinely block access to the car park. The car park itself is poorly designed with the parking spaces creating blind spots for those reversing out. Operationally - I wonder why the restaurant seems to be perpetually taken by surprise by the fact that people come to eat at meal times. The queues can get pretty long, and it would make sense to adjust staffing and suspend table service at certain times. The restaurant also has poor planning for the "freebies". Kids make us bring them here for the toys in happy meals, but most of the time the current toys as advertised are not available. Even when they are available, the staff don't bother to check the one you ordered, and having to go back to exchange is common. The offers like the Cola glasses are prominently advertised outside, but not available inside. It's unbelievable that a restaurant is not able to plan the stock of such items, when they have data on the consumption. The restaurant has entertainment tablets for kids, but they are badly in need of hardware and software maintenance. The staff is very friendly and accommodating, and very responsive. The rest rooms are clean and well maintained. The architecture can't be changed, but if the restaurant gets better at operational planning, I will definitely rate it higher next time. Update: 18 Jan 2021 The restaurant offers take away and drive through during the covid period. Today, I went there after a couple of months, and had a kids meal and a signature burger to take away. That burger was the worst burger I have ever been served. The buns were not the signature buns. The patties were dry and cold. The lettuce was wilted and smelly. The cheese looked disgusting. It looked like a burger that was made yesterday, and kept warm until today. Don't believe me? Take a look at the pics. They got away with it because it's take-away, and I wasn't in the mood to drive 15 minutes to complain. The burger went in the compost - it was too disgusting to eat. I am reducing my review to 1-star until they get their act together.

In my opinion, one of the best restaurants in this chain. It is very modern and has enough parking spaces. The location on the motorway is great! To eat: Burgers, nuggets and fries are always fresh and very hot. No withered lettuce leaves. The staff are very friendly

Come from Herrenberg, you never get what you order, some of the food is cold, burgers careless, employees overwhelmed because too few staff, otherwise super friendly, we go to Böblingen or Nagold there is the quality as one is used to at MC Donald, dear owner what's going on?

McDonalds should generally retrofit the ideas from back then are already exhausted;) In addition, you should be able to get what you want at every opening time and not because the machine is already being cleaned ... Wanted to redeem two coupons on my cell phone. When I entered the second code, the terminal told me that only one code was possible per order. After I canceled the first article, I couldn't redeem any of my codes Codes. So out of disappointment I went without ohne home 🍔🍟

Online pre-orders and / or online payments do not work regularly. The employees also seem to have not noticed that the tables have extra table numbers for orders and do not know what to do with orders without a “stand” from the self-service terminals.

Has little to do with a fast food restaurant. The long waiting time when ordering and picking up the food makes you "weary"! Anyway, I don't feel like doing anything like that.

We bought 4 happy meals to take away, at home we found that none of them had a toy. This shop cannot be reached by phone. The tape announcement comes, this number has been blocked. Very funny! This number is still on the receipt.

Unspeakably poorly run branch. Zero hygiene! Dirty, dirty. Corona? Mask requirement? At the front of the counter Min. Nose free or mask listless on the chin, in the back of the kitchen all without a mask! Staff otherwise incapable and not very friendly. Some employees hang around the tables with friends or family instead of doing urgently needed cleaning work.

Absolutely incompetent staff! are totally overwhelmed, forget orders and the waiting time for food is simply no longer acceptable. Please terminate these incompetent people in your restaurant. Anything else would be an imposition for any customer.

Hygiene concept should be reconsidered. At the entrance you have to give your personal details because of Corona. Then you get a table number as desired for inside or outside. So far everything is fine. Then you come to the table and it is not cleaned a bit but shows the remains of its predecessors. Toilets fully occupied although only 1 person should enter.

Like everyone else, I sometimes go to the Mc but I regret eating inside and not having taken the food home. The dirt is everywhere. It's a shame that you don't value it, or rather don't find time to clean it up. It already spoils your appetite

Quick service

Every time you order something here, you must check what you receive! They always forget to put at least 1 item of the order, or they give you something you haven't ordered, or they tell you, that some items are no longer available.

It is not so crowded in the morning time. It has a good personel and good food. But it nicer for kids.

The customer service is not what I would expect. More friendliness required ;)

Although the number of clients was relatively small, for several orders there were items forgotten to be served and the staff responded unprofessional when the customers complained. Also many promotional items that come with the menus were not available.
